United First Featured in Personal Real Estate Investor Magazine
Personal Real Estate Investor Magazine is an independent magazine that can be purchased at local book stores and at selected airports. It covers issues about the $300 billion real estate investment marketplace. Its target market is real estate investors, asset investors, and homeowners. The May/June 2009 issue of Personal Real Estate Investor contains an article that compares seven different mortgage acceleration companies and the programs they offer to shorten the time to pay off a typical home mortgage. The article is titled: Paying off your mortgage - The Ultimate Payoff.
The article states that “mortgage acceleration strategies can shorten the time to pay off a typical home mortgage. There is sound math and massive savings for the disciplined homeowner.” It further states in summary that mortgage acceleration allows a borrower’s cash be applied to loans for as long as possible thereby utilizing cash management to lower loan balances spending less in interest and by following this strategy it will reduce the payoff time of a typical mortgage by up to two thirds time. “A 30-year mortgage is paid off in less that half the time and saves more than 40 percent of the scheduled total.”
The article describes how all of these mortgage acceleration vendors are trying to differentiate themselves from the market leader United First Financial. Andrew Waite, the publisher of Personal Real Estate Investor magazine, states “the greatest compliment is that every competitor considers United First Financial as the company to beat.”
