It seems that today just about everyone has a blog. They have quite frankly taken over on the Internet.  One major problem with blogs is that it is sometimes difficult to get web traffic to them. Many blog owners are unfamiliar with how to go about generating more traffic. Luckily there are a number of ways that you can use to increase web traffic and have more of your pages viewed.

One of the better ways  to use to go about promoting your blog is with the use of online video websites.  Many of these video websites are free for you to use.   These online video websites allow Internet users to upload videos that they have created. Once these videos are uploaded, they can be viewed by thousands and thousands of Internet users.

If you are looking for a low-cost way to market your blog, then you might want to give online video websites some thought.  Your first action obviously is to create your video using some type of a recording device. These can be camcorders or webcams.

It is important that when making your video that you not make it sound too commercial or pushy. One suggestion is that you could make a video about your blog.

You could record yourself looking at various parts of your blog to demonstrate its features. You could video this or take screen shots of your web pages.  Having screen shot pictures of your blog in your online video is a good way to show what your blog is all about to Internet users.

While posting your videos on these websites is not guaranteed to increase your web traffic, this tactic most likely will by leaps and bounds.  And because many of the video websites that you are targeting to upload your videos to are free to use, there isn’t any risks associated with this web traffic strategy.
